Welcome to my From Heart 2 Home/Coming Up Roses Blog. I think 2012 is the Year of the Fascinator. The Brits have been wearing them for years. I think its time for us in the U.S. to enjoy them too.
This year will be my year for learning the ropes, history and fashion of the "fascinator". Be it ribbon, fabric, feathers, crinoline, sinamay, I want it all! I made my first wedding fascinator last week and feel good enough to share it with you. I used off white netting, beige felted millinery leafs, cream satin ribbon, white lace, off white goose feathers, a white hat base and hair clips.
